In Q4 2025, DIC Malaysia (DICM) carried out a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative titled “Share the Warmth — Clothes Donation Drive”.
Establishing a Long-Term Project with Local Community Charity
The clothing donation drive was carried out over several months, reflecting the care and consideration taken at every stage to ensure the initiative was meaningful and well-executed.
From July to October 2025, employees contributed pre-loved clothing, which were then carefully sorted, packed, and categorized by an internal committee to ensure all items were suitable for reuse. Rather than rushing the process, time was taken to handle each step responsibly, recognizing that dignity, quality, and usability matter just as much as quantity.
The initiative concluded with the handover to Community Recycle for Charity (CRC) on 25 December 2025. CRC is a local Malaysia-based charity focused on collecting and redistributing reusable items to communities in need, while promoting responsible recycling and waste reduction.
DICM hopes these efforts go beyond practical support, helping to build meaningful and lasting connections with community partners who share the same belief in purposeful giving.
Through collective participation and meaningful partnerships, the initiative demonstrates how small, practical actions can make a real difference, locally and responsibly.
