Hello Designers!

Now that 2020 is finally over, we have some good news for the start of 2021! I know, it's Feb 8th, but still... haha! Just a transparency update: We are so happy that designers all over the world are finding indema useful! We did not expect this type of response from the industry and are beyond thankful for all of your support. For this update, we have a loaded one! Lot's of fixes since Decembers update, and some new features too!  

PLATFORM FIXES:

  • Fixed an issue where within time log, when manually entering the time, there would be a NAN error.
  • Fixed an issue where when you created a new task and then created a new task category, error occurred.
  • Fixed an issue where editing a purchase order caused an error.
  • Fixed an issue where showing active timers would show a duplicate time if an instance was active.
  • Fixed an issue where a product image was not showing in the main product table
  • Fixed an issue where in invoices, taxes were being duplicated on the line item.
  • Fixed an issue on milestones where you couldn't add a task.
  • Fixed an issue where some designers were receiving emails for expired license for other design firms. Ouch! Sorry about this, it was just a fluke and only happened on a few cases. Bug squashed!

NEW FEATURES RELEASED:

  • WEB CLIPPER!!!!! We finally have a web clipper designers! You'll be able to access the web clipper by going to the product section and dragging the clipper button to your bookmarks.

    You'll see the new web clipper tool in the products section at the very top. :-) 

    TRANSPARENCY: You maybe wondering why we chose a browser clipper versus a chrome and safari extension. The answer is simple: Updates. Safari is notorious for taking months to approve extension updates. So, to prevent users from having different versions of the clipper if it was a chrome or safari extension, we decided the best route to consistently stay up to date, would be a browser clipper. Works just as amazing (if not better than) as chrome and safari. The other reason is because we dont like the idea of a designer having to download another thing to their computer. :-)
     
  • We added "Products" to the project. You'll now be able to attach products to a project specifically to keep track of each product you add to a project. :-)

     

NEW IMPROVEMENTS INITIATED:

  • Restricted the ability for a single user to be signed into multiple locations at once. This was due to privacy concerns and if a designer forgot to sign out somewhere, when they sign in somewhere else, they have to sign out of all other instances. This also prevents designers from sharing accounts.
  • Removed notice board announcements. This was not a very popular feature, so we got rid of it.
  • Ability to download purchase orders.. FINALLY! Now, clicking on the action button in PO's you can download them.
  • Added the days of the week on all calendars.
  • Pushed the "Support" menu item all the way to the bottom of the menu.
  • Gantt chart will now auto-scroll to the current date.
  • Duplicate Products. You can now duplicate products in the products section.


UPCOMING + STATUS: 

  • Quickbooks- We are nearly done, In regards to transparency, Quickbooks had changed their developer codes where the initial development we did for QB basically failed before deploying the changes to the platform. This meant we had to go back and re-code every module in the platform to read intuit's new code they developed for their API.. Huge setback and 100 more hours of development, but we are nearly done. QB should be releasing on the next months release. :-)

     
  • MoodBoard - We are chugging away at the development of the moodboard! Version 1 will be super simple, with incremental updates as we get to Version 2 which would include stoppable moodboards for your clients.
