Hello Designers!

WOAH! Two updates in 1 month?? You're so special, that's why. Here is the list of what has changed. :-)

 

PLATFORM FIXES:

  • Fixed an issue where there was an error when checking a sub-task in the tasks section.
  • Fixed an issue where adding a task category from the task section in a project was pulling an error.
  • Fixed an issue where you couldn't import vendor CSV
  • Fixed an issue where you could not add products or items to an estimate that already had been created. You can now edit an invoice/estimate and add items.
  • Fixed Quickbooks issue where data was not syncing.

NEW FEATURES RELEASED:

  • New Dashboard! If you have not logged in within the last 2 weeks, go look!
  • We added a notes section for clients when you click to view a client.
  • We added a notes section for each project.

     

NEW IMPROVEMENTS INITIATED:

  • In products: You can now filter location code as well as category.
  • In products: You can now export products to CSV or Excel even after filtering results.
  • In products: Added columns: Location, Notes, Dimensions and materials so you can see this info without going to edit prod.
  • In products: Project is not auto-selected. Meaning, when you add a product, it wont be attached to a project automatically.
  • Purchase Orders: You can now set a custom status. Editable in Settings >Purchase Order Settings
  • Purchase Orders: You can now send an email to the vendor. This will send a copy of the PDF to your vendor for the PO.
  • Moved the billing and Settings tabs to the profile section when you click on your profile image.
  • Tasks: You can now pin a task to indicate its importance.
  • Tasks: You can now write notes versus comments. Notes are not visible to clients whereas comments are.
  • Tasks: You can now share a task. This will open up a web page with just that task so others can see it.
  • Projects: We added "Estimates" to project pages.
  • Retired the Task Calendar view. This was our last view of the tasks, so we retired it to lessen the bulkiness of the platform.

Made it to where the "Discounts" field in estimates + invoices are automatically hidden if there is no input in the field.


UPCOMING + STATUS: 

  • A Calendly alternative. Embed a calendar scheduler on your website. (Will eventually add the booked event to your calendar under the schedule page) Development is done, implementation underway. No ETA at the moment, but definitely in May.
  • Vision boards - In the works. Ran into some development issues with the background remover, but should be rectified soon. ETA for release is June 2021.
  • We are migrating the whole Kbase system to our in-app chat feature. You'll already be able to see articles there.

CURRENTLY WORKING ON

  • Ability to add services to your invoices with products.
  • Ability to select whether or not a discussion is visible to clients.
  • Ability to automatically convert an invoice into a purchase order once paid.
  • XERO integration (Just started, no ETA)
  • Ability to add images into invoices and estimates without it being in the product section.
  • V2 of web clipper: Add to project, and sales category within clipper, as well as multiple images.
