Hello Designers!

Since we did two updates in April, we skipped doing an update in May (even though updates were pushed to the platform, we just didnt write about it until we had enough to write about). So, without delay here we are! 

 

PLATFORM FIXES:

  • Fixed an issue with the web clipper where it wasn't showing on the employee side of the platform.
  • Fixed an issue with the project discussion categories being connected user-wide. This meant that if one user had a category of "Test", another user was not able to have this same title.
  • Fixed an issue where some users were not able to login after changing a client email.
  • Fixed an issue where we had to restrict users from editing client emails once they were created because if a user created an email that was the same as another client, and then deleted it, it deleted both client records since they had the same email.
  • Fixed an issue where users could have two emails for separate clients be the same email. You will now get an error if an email exist in your account for that client.
  • Fixed an issue where support tickets were not getting to our support team.
  • Fixed an issue where users were not receiving replies from support on their support tickets.
  • Fixed a random error (unknown error) when a user was clicking on "attendance by member" in the attendance area.
  • Fixed an issue where project-side product images were not showing for some users. DB (database) issue.
  • Fixed an issue when you create a new task and new task category from this new task, the error shows "Server Error".
  • Fixed an issue where users were not able to import vendors from CSV.
  • Fixed an issue where you were not able to change an employee role.
  • Other minor little kinks ironed out!

     

NEW FEATURES RELEASED:

  • Now you can add a product to a project, and to a sales category in the web clipper.
  • BOOKINGS - Beta. You can now add bookings to your account as an add-on. Bookings allow you to embed a calendar to your website to collect bookings/meetings from your clients. Right now, we are in BETA.  This addon is $5/mo or $60/yr and can be added by going to the billing page > change plan > scroll to the bottom to add-ons. Please note: This is in BETA and is expected to have bugs.
  • Paid invoices, now automatically convert to Purchase Orders for you.

     

NEW IMPROVEMENTS INITIATED:

  • Added the ability to edit a product right from the project main screen, just click on a column to edit the data.
  • Added the ability for you to export all products to a PDF, and filter what you want to show on this PDF.
  • Added the ability for users to create templates for their contracts.
  • The ability for users to change invoice numbers.
  • Added the ability for users to search products when adding them to an invoice. You can also now see images of these products as well.
  • Added the ability for you to hide columns in the products section
  • Added a ton more columns in the product section for both the project main page and products in projects.
  • Ability for you to add services to your invoices WITH products.
  • Added the ability for you to select whether or not a discussion in a project is visible to the client.


UPCOMING + STATUS: 

  • Vision boards - In the works. Ran into some development issues with the background remover, but should be rectified soon. ETA for release is June 2021.
  • Google Calendar integration: Should be released in a month or sooner.

 

CURRENTLY WORKING ON:

  • XERO integration (Just started, no ETA)
  • Task productivity where you can rate each task for your projects, and it will (based on that rating) be able to tell you which tasks to focus on given the rating as well as considering time.
  • A brand new user interface is being developed. We should be done this week. Think... Modern minimalism. We're excited. :)
  • Quickbooks: We are working on ability to create custom chart of accounts after the UI is complete this week.
  • Working on integrating Zapier.
  • inbound and outbound email capabilities with automation.

 

NOTEWORTHY:

  • We now have an Updates/Roadmap menu item where you can see our roadmap and updates as well as request features! You can also see the updates there too.

     
  • We migrated over our help articles to an external system versus internal. Click on "Kbase" inside the platform to go there! We are coming out with video tutorials when our new user interface is complete.
